@Old Thunder who would you want to be Tulsi's VP if she wins the nomination?
So I know that from a Republican viewpoint Bernie Sanders is pretty extreme, but while I have reservations about him too, I actually really like him. Unlike a lot of politicians, Bernie is very genuine and has been saying the same things since the ‘80s. He’s fought for civil rights in the ‘60s and supported the LGBTQ+ since forever and hasn’t wavered like most of the candidates on any side. I support him for that reason, and because while he’s a fairly extreme candidate I think he understands the other side better than most of the candidates can. IIRC he got a standing ovation on Fox News when he did a town hall or something with them. My ideal ticket would be Tulsi and Bernie, with either one taking either role. I think they suit each other well and would set some checks and balances for each other.

Now aside from Bernie, I think Yang would be a great VP for Tulsi. I like Booker too, and would add Buttigieg in if he hadn’t had that spat with Tulsi in the last debate.

This is all my opinion which has evolved over the last several months and will likely evolve some more as we head into the election year itself. Just an FYI.

Thanks for the reply! I completely respect your opinion. I admire and respect Tulsi not just for her service but for not deeming the other side as evil and nazis who most never be associated with. I respect Bernie for calling our big pharma but I despise socialism and communism, I have family and now people who came from countries that had them in power and its awful how they were treated. But I completely respect your opinion. Thanks again for the response! Sorry if I went on a tangent or come across as annoying.

GOD!!! He is such an idiot. Joe just go home, you will not win. What he said is extremely creepy. Imagine if Trump said this the media would never stop reporting it. I bet CNN will never cover how creepy and weird this is.
Well of course they won’t! They legit give race passes to criminals.

Completely understand. My mom comes from East Germany so I have a bit of familial knowledge about what it’s like myself. I think that communism is incredibly dangerous to implement, but also that capitalism has flaws that could use fixing up. While not crossing into extreme territory but also not being complacent with the current system, we can make the country a better one for all involved. I feel like a Tulsi—Bernie presidency could work well towards that, but of course that’s again just my opinion from what I’ve seen and read from and about them.

@D’Snowth curious to know who you’re rooting for from the candidates this time around.
I seem to have yet found a candidate who I feel I can support 100%.

I still feel a little gravitated toward Bernie, even if is a tad extreme, it does feel like he speaks for the people, as does Mayor Pete, though I'm still a little mixed on him in terms of experience much like I was with Obama in 2008. Meanwhile, I like that Bloomberg is actually against certain issues that the left really is making issues out of, like the whole #MeToo Movement - which really has gotten laughably out of hand in recent years - though, not sure I agree with his views on taxes.
