We’re getting ready for the holiday season. Christmas will be arriving at Muppet Central the Friday morning after Thanksgiving. We’ll be rolling out several features to make your Christmas merrier and more Muppety.

    (1) Christmas Music – Beginning the Friday morning after Thanksgiving, we’ll start our annual Muppet Christmas Music Marathon on Muppet Central Radio. More than 325 Christmas tunes can be heard non-stop through the holidays. We've added quite a few new songs this year. You can listen to Muppet Central Radio 24 hours a day on Live365 and Radio Terra.

    (2) Christmas Menus - Our annual Muppet Christmas menus will begin arriving this Friday as well and will continue leading up to 2014. All of these animated menus are beautifully designed by James Carroll. The menus will be changing every few days and can be viewed from the Muppet Central home page.

    (3) Christmas Presents - In order to make finding Muppety gifts easier, you can shop from the official Muppets store or buy any item directly from Amazon.com. Check it out for lots of Muppety releases and specials. Find a Muppet gift for every frog, pig or bear on your list. Begin your Christmas shopping today.

With the struggling economy, we’d like to mention that by purchasing any item from Amazon.com through Muppet Central and any item from eBay through Muppet Central, you greatly help us keep the site, radio and forum running every day and every month. By doing your Christmas shopping through Muppet Central you can help us have the resources to do even more next year. You can also help support MC by customizing your very own Muppet Whatnot or buying other toys through this link from FAO Schwarz.

Thanks in advance to everyone for your help. We have some significant site upgrades planned for 2014, so please use MC links whenever you make on-line purchases to help us make these upgrades as soon as possible.

Already listening to the month-long MCR Muppet Christmas Merrython and I'm grinning like a Cheshire cat. Sorry, that's a cue to another song. What has me smiling is I got the SST News Flash: Holiday Mix-Up sketch (which could have been an inspiration for TNBC), the original version of I Believe, and Saludo all back-to-back. Will have to ask for some songs in the appropriate thread in the B/S/T section, but thanks for keeping my Thanksgiving Day weekend rolling on a high note Phil. :)

So I've been listening to MCR's Muppet Christmas merry-thon through the RadioTerra station link... And why is it that the volume keeps spiking higher than the level I want it at? It's okay now through The Christmas Song from MFC and so far into All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth... But it'll spike soon, though I hope it won't. :(

Does anybody have this Muppet News Flash sketch with Kermit and Santa? If so, please let me know. It would make a nice addition to Muppet Central Radio. I'd be happy to send you some rarities in exchange for the help.

Do you know what the name of the sketch is? I tried looking it up on Youtube and could not find it.

It's just a Sesame Street Newsflash segment with Santa. It would be great if someone could help with this.

Love the Muppets & Christmas? Listen to Muppet Central Radio

Although the next Muppets movie, Muppets Most Wanted, doesn’t come out until March 21, our favorite gang of felted celebs is getting in the holiday spirit. Since the day after Thanksgiving, Muppet Central Radio has played Muppet Christmas carols around the clock.

You can tune in to the 13th Annual Muppet Christmas Music Marathon on Radio Terra and Live 365. Muppet Central added 20 new songs this year, increasing their Muppet Christmas carol library to 325 tracks that will lead you dancing and singing into the holidays.

Included in Muppet Central Radio’s playlist are songs from the past 40 years of Muppets. Some songs we’ve heard are “The Man with the Bag,” “All Dressed Up,” and “The Christmas Queen.”

Two tracks we’re hoping to hear on the playlist are “Jingle Bell Rock” from A Muppet Family Christmas and “Fozziwig’s Party” from The Muppet Christmas Carol, which is the best Muppet Christmas movie of all time.

For fans of the Muppets, the gang has starred in plenty of holiday flicks like the television special A Muppet Family Christmas, as well as It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie and of course The Muppet Christmas Carol.

Hopefully the Muppet Christmas Music Marathon will make the wait for Muppets Most Wanted just a little bit more bearable.

Hey Phil, just sent you the two Leprechaun Brother bits from the Gaga special for the MCR Christmas music merrython. Not sure if you'd want Venus and/or Gypsy as well, LMK, hope this helps.

Yo. Loving the music that Muppet Central Radio is playing right now. And thanks especially for playing The Christmas Wish. It really spoke to me. And talk about going from the sublime to the ridiculous, Big Bird and Anne Hathaway's re-working of I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas was a real treat too.
