I have not, although I've read a lot of his stuff (Happy Days, Endgame, Footfalls, Play, Krapp's Last Tape, and his only screenplay, Film, which starred Buster Keaton).

Chaplin.. I love City Lights! ... but Harold Lloyd was always my favorite silent film star

    Charlie Brown or Snoopy?
  8. wombat woman New Member

My senior year in college, Billie Whitelaw (who, besides being a great character actress & one of Sam Beckett's favorite actresses, voiced Augra in Dark Crystal, so I'm not completely off-topic:D ) taught a five-week class called 'Beckett in Performance.' Very cool to have some who was directed by Beckett work through several plays. I still want to stage some of his short plays, one of these days.

And that would be...Harold Lloyd! (OK, Chaplin, but I love Harold Lloyd).

    Snoopy, easy

    Can I choose both?:halo:

I hear ya! I couldn't answer the art or music question, because to me, there's just no winner.

Same with Statler & Waldorf. They work so well together, it's almost impossible to choose one over the other!

Wow! That is so awesome! I've been a fan of Miss Whitelaw's for years! And yes, in keeping this topic Muppety, she is reprising Aughra in Power of the Dark Crystal. She was wonderful as the suspicious wife of the hero's best friend in Hitchcock's Frenzy, and absolutely chilling as the sinister nanny Mrs. Baylock in The Omen.
