I was watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade again and I wanted to know what the marching music they always play after the "Let's have a parade!" is called. It's not "Seventy Six Trombones," that's for sure. It's always like...

Da, da, daa-dada, da, da, daa-dada... etc.

It starts in the key of E flat and then goes up to F major.

Anyone help me please?

I'm pretty sure it's "New York, New York".

:smile:yep, pretty sure thats it:smile:

Start spreading the news, I’m leaving today
I want to be a part of it - new york, new york
These vagabond shoes, are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it - new york,
new york

I wanna wake up in a city, that doesn’t sleep
And find I’m king of the hill - top of the heap

These little town blues, are melting away
I’ll make a brand new start of it - in old new
york
If I can make it there, I’ll make it anywhere
It’s up to you - new york, new york

also, a interesting fact of the Macy's is that Mr and Mrs Macy died on the Titanic

*Is suddenly reminded of the Get Fuzzy comic where Satchel confused "Over the Rainbow" for "New York, New York".
