I've noticed that many skits, especially the music spoofs, have screaming audience sounds at the beginning and end. Here are some of them:

Count it Higher
Letter B
Cookie Disco
I'm Wavin' Goodbye to You With My Heart
Proud (by Little Jerry and the Monotones)
This Frog
Eight Balls of Fur
You're Alive!
It's Hip to be a Square
Thinking of U
Mad (again by Little Jerry)
Mr. Between

I can't think of any more.

Can anyone else think of any other skits with that screaming audience?

Thanks!

There was a song called "I feel sad". Lines included

"<something, something> I fell down."
"I lost a shiny dime"

The refrain ended with
"Sit down and cry-yi-yi"
(backup vocalists) "Sit down and cry!" <insert background screams!>

Wasn't that by Little Jerry?

Also, I left out "Fur"!

Doesn't "High, Middle, Low" ("I can only sing the high paaaaaart, it's the only one i know...") have audience screaming when each new singer appears? I didn't really get it as a kid but I love the idea that these sort of old-time barbershop style performers would get the same screams as a rock star.

You know, I noticed that some of them, such as "Count it Higher", "Letter B", and "You're Alive" all have the EXACT SAME sound effect!!

Didn't both "I Just Adore 4" and "Hey Food" have that same sound effect, too?

And I think "I Cry" (by Baby Rocky) had it, too.

Any others?

Thanks again, and have a good night!

Let's go, boys!

Didn't Cookie Monster's song "Me Want to Munch Munch Munch You" and that song that Polly Darton sang about the weather (it slips my mind at the moment) both have that same sound effect, as well?

What do you think?
