Elmo posed as a few other animals too

There was one episode about lizards where Elmo posed as a chameleon. Later on a Muppet Chameleon appeared in his room and talked with him. When Elmo sang his trademark ending, the chameleon asked if he knew "The Rainbow Connection" I fell off the couch watching this thing with my daughter.

Wasn't there some sort of crazy music/conductor Elmo with googly eyes and curly hear? Also I think Elmo has appeared as his parents too. I remember this because Elmo's parent's said actual pronouns.

There's a number of "regular" Elmos:

*At least 3 rod-arm versions
*A live-hand version (or maybe they switch arms on the puppet?)
*A full-body hand puppet version (where the hand can enter in the back of his head)

And...

  • The Three Elmos (parody of the Three Tenors)
  • The Three Little Pigs/Elmos
  • Bat Elmo

It seems like they're using up a lot of red fur fabric to make all these Elmo animals. I wonder if they'll ever be reused again?
