I have a police scanner on my desk and I just heard a cop calling in a plate number.
"I-Ida, L-Lincoln, K- Kermit"
I found it funny, home some one else will too

nothing wrong with wondering.
I used to work at a 2 way radio shop and just got used to having one around.
Its amazing all the things that happen that never make it on to your local news that you hear on a scanner.

My cousin's husband used to be a fireman, and they kept a scanner too...it is interesting overhearing alot of what they probaby don't want overheard! It surprises me that newstations and reporters don't keep them by thier bedsides!

Heh. Everyone in upstate New York has a scanner, and it drives me nuts. Those things annoy the heck outta me.
