I realized we did not have this thread so I thought I might as well start it! We already have a song you can's stand and songs that get stuck in you're head, but isn't it about time we showed some love to the songs...we love? I love the song 1901 by Pheonix and I am the walrus by the Beatles and Paul revere by the beastie boys. How's about's you's (terrible grammar :stick_out_tongue: )

I don't blame you by your troubled grammar, mo. I never ever stop listening to Beatles songs. My all-time favorite song would be octopus's garden or All together now (pretty catchy). I have not listen to the beastie boys yet, that song (Paul Revere) is okay, and I have not yet learned how to rap yet. Sorry!

My favorite songs that I adore and love... that's hard. I love listen to 80s band music. Don't you Forget Me is pretty good. My really all-time favorite would be either You Were Always On My Mind by Willie Nelson or "The Master of The House" from Les Miserables (I have no problem with comic relief songs).

It does me proud to see so many of you like The Beatles. When I was 12, (right around the time John Lennon died, December 1980), the first time I heard the opening chord to "A Hard Day's Night" ("CHIIIIIIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!") I thought, I HAVE TO GET A GUITAR AND LEARN HOW TO PLAY THIS STUFF! And spent about two years hunched over my stereo, learning by ear how to play these songs. Great practice, and paid off. Been playing in bands for the last 30 years, and Beatle songs are always a crowd-pleaser.

That's really inspiring, I always wanted to really like the Beatles, but I just can't seem to get into them :/ . And also yellow submarine, used to scare me when I was about 9 or so. I wish I could play the guitar I can sorta play the ukulele, but I do sing and I do want to start a band.
