Slight Conflicts

Anyone ever notice that in two episodes Gonzo and Kermit seemed to have slight conflicts in season 1? Maybe also it's implied in the times Kermit has played the trumpet at the end of the theme song instead of Gonzo.

At the mention of Juliet and Gonzo having to share a dressing room, Kermit says he told him to dress in the alley, almost as if he is slightly embarassed and ashamed to have a failure in his staff.

After the opening number "I feel pretty", Gonzo pesters Kermit, saying he hasn't been on stage lately (despite being in the closing number of the Paul Williams episode). He also insults Kermit as a "Yokel" and "Roob", as well as having a faint sneer when he says Scooter "understands the soul of a true artist", as if he isn't entirely happy having Kermit for a boss.

Kermit also threatens to get rid of Gonzo if he doesn't get rid of the tomato plant after it attacks Connie and insults his teddy bear, even though it obviously meant a lot to him.

Later in the second season Gonzo also comes right out and taunts Kermit, and even seems to question the frog's taste in acts as much as his own preferences were.

Anyone notice these things and wanna debate them?
