I have made a new puppet - a skunk.

The head was 3d-printed in PLA on my Makerbot 3d-printer.

I released the model on Thingiverse (non-commercial purposes):

I did not include the lower jaw in the model because it's faster to make one with an aluminium-profile. It is covered in Wonderflex. The teeth were hand-sculpted with Plaast. The ears are made of felt. I made a pattern with masking tape, added seam allowance, cut the fur, sewed it together by hand and glued it to the head with high-temperature hot glue.

The body is made of foam:

The animatronic eyelids and eyes are cable controlled - it's all mechanical, no electronics. I push at two buttons that are attached to bicycle brake cables - the eyelids are pulled back in the default position by two springs. Everything's simple and reliable.
