Should Tex Richman go to jail?

Well do know the evil Tex Richman was about to tare down the Muppet studios and also stole the name of the muppets but Walter and Muppets stopes him and saved the day.

Do you think Richman should go to jail for all that he did?

Well I beleaive that taking the groups' names is agast the law :plus the muppet theater is not supposes to be tare down no matter who owns it.

So what do you guys think about this?
  2. Beauregard Well-Known Member

Well, really the only illegal activity that he was directly involved in was cutting off their power supply, and then mugging 80's Robot to steal the car and knock down the telephone lines.

If anyone should go to jail, its really the Muppets for kidnapping Jack Black, Uncle Deadly for throwing Tex off a roof, probably Gonzo for assault and possibly the rest of the gang for moving into a building that had been granted unsuitable for habitation...*ahem*

Could they technically get him for fraud?
  4. Beauregard Well-Known Member

Oh yes, I suppose he did tell Kermit that he was buying the theater for philanthropic reasons. Very good point. :news:
  5. Collgoff Well-Known Member

    So what the point?

The scene when Muppets are in Jail was cut from the movie.

I know buying Buildings is o.k. but in a very merry muppet Christmas an evil won am named Rachel what buy the muppet theater and the tare it down for something else: then she change the contract from mint night to 6:00 pm.
So then at near end Pepe found out that no one will tare down the muppet theater no matter who owns it.

Even if Scooter's uncle is in the movie he could give Tex Richman a price of his mind.

    Also, Tex was rehabilitated.

Haha! That last explosion looked like it should be a sitcom with star Jim Parsons in a leading role...

    What dose rehabilitated mean?
  14. Beauregard Well-Known Member

Well, in the news reports at the the end, he showed he was a changed man by returning the theater and Muppets name. Which is essentially what it means to be rehabilitated.

I wonder who Tex's lawyer would be.
  16. heralde Well-Known Member

Maybe Kermit could play Rosenthal again. ;)

I actually just reminded myself of the episode of The MuppetCast where Steve Whitmire was a guest, and he said he'd like Rizzo to be a lawyer sometime. Maybe THAT'S what he can be used for in the next movie.

i think Tex Richman should go to jail because he tried to blow up the things kids in the 80s/90s rushed home from school to watch . my mum and dad used to watch it and when i told them that that he tried to demolish the muppet studio they were devestated

Tex was a brat that never grew up. owever he reforms after Fozzie's joke makes him laugh for the first time. According to the song for those of youwho don't know, Tex hates the Muppets because his friends laughed at their antics wen they watced them at his 10th birthday, but Tex can't laugh so his friends teased him.

Bitterman I thought was worse as a person, because she made Kermit think he ruined his friends' lives with his dreams.
