I was reading this book (The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World..can't remember who wrote it.) and I read that there was a Robotic Kermit the Frog hidden in the Star Tours ride..I did some research and I found out that it was true! I found a bunch of pictures on this.. I don't know if this is still in the new Star Tours..
Doesn't look much like Kermit..but it's supposed to be.

You should put this in the nightmare thread. :)
  3. Muppet fan 123 Well-Known Member

I should. I mean, how much like Kermit does that look like? Not much.

I've finally navigated to this thread...

But anyway, this is pretty interesting...you never know where Muppet references are lurking when you don't know it...

I'm still kinda trying to figure out how that face looks like Kermit..

EDIT: I think Kermit's head is facing the wrong way, he's really lying on his stomach. That's just my theory.

I do like the eyes though, they really pop out like Kermit's...

I would love to see some toy company come out with an actual interactive animatronic Kermit toy. Something like that Elmo Live thing they had a few years back but better because it's Kermit.

    Woah!! What an awesome find!
Thanks for posting this up. It's a bit creepy but thank you, anyway. :)

Actually, I think I do see a mouth...it's a bit odd shaped, but vaguely there...
  11. FrackleFan2012 Well-Known Member

I see the mouth, too. It looks like it's sucking up something.

I don't know if this is in the new Star Tours. It's possible they didn't put it into the newly renovated Star Tours: The Adventure Continues..I'll have to do some research.

I think it's the angle the picture's taken at. If you were looking at it from below the eyeline, I think it would look more like Kermit.:)

It's a personal photo taken by some regular person and posted on their website. I think it would be a bit disrespectful to just take that personal photo and post it on here like that, and pretty much rob them of their credit and such.

I guess I can see it with the eyes being on top...but its a stretch... but hey now being all owned by the same company Gonzo can be the villian in episode 7...and that strange monstrosity can be in the new muppet movie....

    It's all in the eyes.
