That just leaves Ginger and Mary Ann with us. I hope they're not still going to green-light that proposed Gilligan movie. So many 60's sitcoms were campy viewing at best, but did not translate well to the big screen several generations later. Keep your fingers crossed on this one.

He was McGyver before McGyver existed. He could build a transistor radio out of coconuts. Let's see McGyver do that.

RIP

"You know I lived with a guy for years, a real genius. I mean he could tell a couple of cocoanuts, a piece of string and make a nuclear reactor. But he couldn't fix a two foot hole in a boat!"

--Gilligan/Bob Denver (in a very funny cameo from 1987's Back to the Beach).

So since they uncanceled GLEE last year because Cory Monteith died so they could do a tribute episode to Finn, why don't they uncancel GILLIGAN'S ISLAND since Russell Johnson died and do a tribute episode to the Professor?

Didn't watch the show that much, but the death of a star of a pop culture icon is definitely sad. RIP.
