RIP David Brenner (1936-2014)

You have to have a few years under your belt to remember him, but David Brenner was a hilarious stand-up comic during the 80's, and frequently stood in for Johnny Carson (gave Jay Leno a good run for his money).

Had one outstanding bit, "New York vs. L.A.", that was included on a CD box set "The History of American Comedy". Thanks, David. Caught you New Year's Eve 1986, and you helped me ring in the new year with my sides splitting.
