Scott Hanson sent me this poll to put up so here it is... All seven of the versions listed above can be heard on Muppet Central Radio. Let us know which one is your favorite!

By the way, if anyone ever has ideas for polls that you'd like us to have on the forum just send me a note and I'll add your poll as soon as possible.

Thanks Phil.

I voted for Paul Williams' version of his own song. It's just so natural... oh my gawd, it JUST came on MC Radio RIGHT NOW as I'm typing this. Freaky... or Phil bumped it up in the rotation

Scott,

I voted Paul Williams too, That version is really nice.

I think in Debbie Harry's you can see her inner Rock self trying to break out, See how she keeps twitching ?

LOL!

I think she keeps twitching because it's been too long since she's had a hit. I'm not a big fan of that version at all. I wish Kermit had done a duet with someone better like Helen Reddy. Although admittedly, the DH version is slightly better sans visuals.

For a moment there I thought DH meant Don Henley (from Kermit Unpigged). But I don't much care for that version at all - and I've never heard any of the other versions, so I picked Debbie Harry.

I voted for Paul's version, although Sarah's is a close second to me.

Well, that was "Bein' Green" which I actually like very much. It's a fantastic arrangement.

Yes.... so it is Bein' Green.... and not Rainbow Connection... (blushes)

I'm not a Don Henley fan - I don't know why I don't like him, but I don't. But to each his own - that version just doesn't strike me the same way it does you, I guess.

Zack, Raven-Symone sang Rainbow Connection with Kermit on the 1990 special, "The Muppets at Walt Disney World".

The above versions are those that currently play on Muppet Central Radio.
