What other episodes of The Muppet Show do you think that Lips should have been in?
Here is my list:
Gene Kelly: backstage during closing number.
Loretta Switt: backstage during UK spot and in closing number.
Brooke Shields: in opening number and as a member of the jury.
Senor Wenches: as part of the group of muppets who come on-stage at the end of Senor Wenches last act.
Paul Simon: playing the trumpet heard off-screen when Gonzo starts to sing his song to Kermit, in Fifty Ways To Leave Your Lover (instead of Rizzo), and in closing number.
Carol Burnett: either dancing in the marathon (he could have danced with Trumpet Girl) or playing trumpet in the band (even though it would have made him the only non-whatnot in the band)
Linda Ronstatd: in Blue Bayou.
Other ways:
As a patient in Veterinarians Hospital.
and in other productions...
Movies:
The Muppets Take Manhattan: as part of The Electric Mayhem (instead of just being at the wedding).
Muppet Treasure Island: as part of the band.
Muppets From Space: in any scenes with the electric mayhem, and at the breakfast table.
It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie: in the audience during the meeting, in any orchestra scene, and with the Muppets when they sing christmas carols at the end.
The Muppets Wizard of Oz: at Poppyfields and on Muppet Star Search.
Specials:
John Denver and the Muppets: Rocky Mountain Holiday: camping with the other muppets (or maybe joining Zoot during the Gone Fishing song).
The Fantastic Miss Piggy Show: in the controll room (it's too bad that the electric mayhem didn't perform back-up music in any of Miss Piggy's numbers, or else he could have been there)
Muppets Tonight:
Michelle Phiefer: in the board room at the beginning.
Billy Crystal: playing trumpet in the closing number.
Heather Locklear: in There's an Awful Lot of Coffee in Brazile.
Coolio and Don Rickles: in the controll room when Mr. Groupa makes changes to the characters.
