My Walmart seriously sucks.. They either never order anything, or they just never have it. Annoyance.

I pre-ordered and have to wait longer to get 'em, but they're cheaper this way!
  3. Beauregard Well-Known Member

Yup. Mine were sent from the amazon yesterday..

how much cheaper can you get the 24.99
  5. Fozzie Bear Moderator

I don't even remember what I paid for them now, but they were cheaper to get pre-ordered than to wait for them to come to the store.

I only checked Amazon at the time.

Now, I am willing to bet some folks have cheaper prices on their sites than it was during pre-order. Why? Cause that's my luck!

Don't feel bad Kev..........that is my luck too!!!!!

I picked up MWoO and Season 1 today at Best Buy for 35.98. Tax here in NC is 7%, so it ended up being 38.50. Muppets Wizard of Oz does come with a $5.00 off coupon if you buy both dvds. Though, by reading it, it doesn't look like you have to buy both on the same receipt, for the coupon that is. The deal for Best Buy has to be on the same receipt.

Is the $5.00 coupon combinable with the Best Buy offer? If so, you could basically have Oz for free!!!
  9. Ernie101 Active Member

You'd be paying about a dollar for Oz .. Haha.

Still, if you use the coupon it's only about 6 bucks. Seeing everyone's reactions on here is making me want to get it bad though..

*Wonders how much longer it will take WalMart to get the DVDs*

The $5 off coupon is in the MWoO dvd. So it isn't necessary to get both at Best Buy, but why wouldn't you? hehe It is a mail-in coupon though, not an instant one or even mail-in offered by Best Buy.

Mine's on order from Amazon but didn't come today. I hope it doesn't come tomorrow because I won't be able to watch it tomorrow evening. It's a lot nicer getting a dvd or tape in the mail when you can open it up and pop it in right away. So hopefully it comes Thursday. :)

hey guys, check this out :

Interesting... I got it at Best Buy here in Cincinnati today and only paid $29.99 + tax (about $32) for it.

This makes the 3rd TV show on DVD that I have. I've got Top Cat: The Complete Series as well as Seasons 1 and 2 of Rocky & Bullwinkle (almost done with Season 2).
  14. Ashmanarion New Member

I think you misunderstood. I did get Season 1 today for 29.99 + tax. the 35.98 is the total(before tax) for it and Muppets Wizard of Oz.
  15. Kimp the Shrimp Active Member

    Does the $5 coupon inside
  16. Ashmanarion New Member

The $5 coupon comes inside of Muppets Wizard of Oz and it is a mail-in.

I got mine earlier tonight.. I got MWOO and TMS season1 at WalMart, after they told me they would not be getting them. Oh well, I'm not complaining..
Haven't watched any yet, I'm going to watch MWoo first though.

So woo hoo, I got them at Best Buy and it's only going to end up costing me a dollar for Muppet Wizard of Oz. I missed it when they first showed it on TV, so I haven't seen it yet. I was just going to rent it, because I didn't want to buy something I'd never seen (especially with the mixed reviews 'round these parts). But $1 is a fraction of what it would cost to rent it at Blockbuster. YAAAAAY! :)

Got mine at Futureshop this morning. TMS was 45.99 (that includes tax), and MWoO was about 23 including tax.
    Prices are in canadian dollars.

Off to the Your Thoughts thread!!

Hey I was watching my Season One DVD the other day and it really annoyed me that the DVD's cannot stay in the holder :sigh: . I got this in 2005 when I was 8. It is the limited furry one. But does anyone know if they fixed this issue because if so I would like to buy a second copy.:D
