Sam and Friends BookThe other day I received an email about the 2-Wheel Appeal's latest Charity Fundraiser. The person who forwarded the email about it, thought it worth mentioning that it is scheduled to have Spitting Image's Puppet-Mistress Louise Gold among their entertainers. They are also scheduled to have the actor Danny John-Jules in the entertainment.
I gather that, although they have credited her as being in the musical Oliver! the main reason they have Ms Gold as part of the entertaintment is because of her have been Leading Puppeteer on Spitting Image.

The event is a charity dinner, with entertainment, and an auction afterwards The details are below:

Entertainment including
'THE JERSEY BOYS' (coming after their performance);
LOUISE GOLD (currently in Oliver!)
DANNY JOHN-JULES (from BBC's Red Dwarf)
REBECCA SEALE (from Les Miserables)
Pianist TIM BRICE and cellist VAN BURDEN
Stand up comedy from BRYAN LEWIS and friends
An exciting auction hosted by CHRIS BIGGINS!
Auction items inciude:
Tea for 2 (or 3) with SIR MICHAEL GAMBON (Harry Potter, The Singing Detective)!
Miss JOANNA LUMLEY's The Mistresses scripts, signed by Miss Lumley.
Mr. JEFF GOLDBLUM's (Jurassic Park, The Fly) pyjamas! Together with signed and framed authentication from Mr. Goldblum and a photo of him in the pyjamas!
Visit the Royal Opera House backstage, supper in the staff restaurant and watch an opera from the 'wings'! (For 2 people - programme, chocolates and champagne too!)
2 tickets + programme signed by the cast + chocolate to see Dirty Dancing, champagne with the leading man in his dressing room. Then, at a date to be arranged, AN HOUR'S dance lesson on the ALDWYCH THEATRE STAGE with leading man Johnny Wright.
4 tickets to see Shrek, the new musical opening in London's Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, next year and a tour backstage.
Florida holiday home for 2 weeks (sleeps 8-10 people)!
