I was thinking Kermit whenever he appered in a skit he mainly appered with Grover, Herry, Cookie Monster, Beautiful Day Monster, Telly, Elmo, The Twiddlebugs, Don Music, The Count, and Forgetful Jones.

He appered at least once with Bert, Simon Soundman, and Harvey Kneeslapper. Most of the time he appered with the monsters. The exceptions would be when he appered with Bert , Mumford, Harvey Kneeslapper, Big Bird, Simon Soundman, Oscar, Professor Hastings and The Two Headed Monster.

It would be instresting if he was paired with other characters

Herbert Birdsfoot
Roosevelt Franklin
Sherlock Hemlock
Biff and Sully
Prarie Dawn
Ernie

I don't think they would ever write a sketch with only Prairie and Kermit. Mainly because they sorta play too similar a role on the show. They are both "straight men" almost exclusively. Notice that Prairie is now the one playing the role Kermit would normally play in the Letter of the Day segments with Cookie?

Uh... Kermit has intereacted with a few of the characters you would've liked him to.

In the sketch/video for the song "Do Da Rubber Duck", Kermit appeared along with Ernie and the following characters in Ernie's bathtub.
Telly, Oscar, The Count, Biff, Guy Smiley, Gladys the Cow, and Hoots.
Elmo also appeared in the background during the sketch/video for this song. Hope this helps.
