Is Janice as we know her actualy Janis? In The Art Of the Muppets it calls her Janis?

It also calls Beauregard, Beau Regard.

Beauregard or more propaly, Beau Regard

PS Is it The Great Gonzo? or just plainb Gonzo?

I think Gonzo likes it when people refer to him as the Great Gonzo... but I think it's just his "stage name"

*shrugs* I really don't know! LOL

"Janice" is what we see, like, 95% of the time. "Janis" instances are very rare, but, unfortunately, those few are out there... :rolleyes:

Gonzo

Actually, his name is "Gonzo the Great". If you read the TV Guide interview, he says that is his given name. There are many variations though, and they come out all over the place...here are the ones I know off the top of my head:

The Amazing Gonzo
Gonzo
Gonzo the Great
The Great Gonzo

....and various others. As for Janice, I think all the known Muppet world would write it "Janice". Why is was "Janis" is pretty much beyond me...

About Beauregard, it is more commonly spelled as one word. I think Beau is just a nickname.
