There haven't been many films I have been as pleased. Attachment really is about it. There is also a very low quality avant-garde quasi-autobiographical animated piece called “Pick My Brain” but it's really not that great. I may add that later if I ever get a transfer. I'd actually like to add new footage and re-edit the piece for fun. There are also more ideas for other shorts if I ever get a digital camera. I have also starred in several films shown in various festivals.

LOL!

Not really anymoe. Just favors for film school friends. I also have performed in a couple operas, several musicals and a couple of plays, a tiny bit of modeling and commercial work (not to mention highschool productions). Much of this was done before the age of 20 so that's a long time ago, but I will still do the odd art film from time to time as long as I work with someone who knows what they're doing. I'm not really good, but I am capable and blond! I am quite a lighting issue though!

Awesome job, Jamie!!!!

You're very talented, you definitley bring your own unique flair to every project you worked on. Although I'm particularly fond of the work you do on MC, I like all of the stuff you're doing.

Being a bit of a movie buff and very into the indie film scene, I have a few words on your film. First of all, as a movie buff/sortofacritic, I liked "Attachment" a lot. My one criticism is that I think the editing should've been toned down a little bit; I was left kind of bewildered by the end. However, as a homosexual teen, I think you got the angst and confusion down pretty well. Great job!!!

Thanx! There is much content to be added. I was surprised how much stuff there was. I could make another two sites out of the stuff that didn't make it. Well, this is my 3rd major. Film, Graphic Design, Multimedia. They all relate.

The film transfer is really poor. Trying to get a better version up. Quick cuts don't translate on the web. But it was intended to have a very fast pop to it. The sound seems to be off too. This was a last minute addition to the site that will be improved. Kind of spent too much time with Muppet Central. LOL!

The film began as an adaptation of a short story but took on a life of its own - that's why the end is so strange. My professor really enjoyed that part so I kept it in. You never see him really fall - he just exits frame. That was intentional.

Glad you enjoyed it and don't think it's porn. LOL! Just kidding there. That would have been an entirely different film.

Oh, it wasn't the ending itself that bewildered me necissarily, but just that when it was over it felt like the whole thing had just whoooshed by me. But you're right, I think I should watch it again; I think it mostly has to do with the fact that I was watching it over the web. (Don't let all this convince you that I didn't like it; quite the contrary! )

Cool. Yeah, I got what you meant. It was intended to be a very fast paced film and to build up to some sort of climax. It's much more powerful on the big screen. Glad you like it! It was almost left out of the portfolio.
