Has anyone here made a Kermit replica? If so, how is your hand placed inside his head ?
I am planning on making my own! Iceland needs a Kermit!

There is absolutly nothing inside his head apart from your hand.
Your hand should be pretty relaxed witb your fingers curved and your middle finger raised slightly.

Interesting! I keep thinking it'd be a lot more comfortable to just thicken the top of the skull to shape it, but that would sacrifice flexibility, and probably look freaky when you wiggle your hand to change his expression.

How snug is the head width-wise?

The widest part of the mouthplate is about 10mm wider than the with of your hand.. So its pretty snug

And yea, if you add anything to the head under the fleece you lose the ability to recreate his trademark expressions

It's worth noting that the kinds of positions you have to put your hand in to perform Kermit feel much less awkward when you've got the puppet on your hand than when you're just trying to do them on their own. Arcing your fingers and such isn't that bad when you've got the fleece and mouth plate to press against.
