When I was very young, all I thought Easter was about was the bunny and candy, and that was it. As you get older, your views change. When I hit my thirties, I finally was able to understand just how big a price Jesus paid for our sins. Crucifixion was the most painful, agonizing way to die. And he died not for a select few, but for every person that ever walked the earth. So that our relationship with God could be restored. And he rose again to live in our hearts.
If some people think it's still only about candy, more's the pity.
