In the mid to late 70s, there was an episode with a one-time Muppet character named Frankie who felt self-conscious of wearing glasses because he was afraid of being called "Frankie Four-Eyes". I don't have much to go on other than remembering he was featured in street scenes and that the whole concept was getting Frankie to accept having to wear glasses. Does anyone remember him or this particular part of the episode?

From what I remember, Frankie was a purple anything Muppet kid and he was on a baseball team Olivia was coaching. Frankie didn't have his glasses on and he missed the ball two times when he was at bat. Olivia stopped the game and noticed that Frankie didn't have his glasses on. He said he looked funny with them on, but Olivia convinced him that it's okay to wear glasses. So Frankie finally played with his glasses on and he was able to see the ball coming and get a hit.

Actually it was Maria and not Olivia and Fankie didn't say anything about being called Four-eyes.
