No, it was the first run for these shows. It looks as if the show was switched from Saturdays (Season 1) to Thursdays (Season 2) to Sundays (where, so far as I can tell, it stayed for the remainder of the episodes).
Interesting!

I do remember that Season 3 - 5? were shown on weekdays on CITV - this could explain why I have an incomplete epsidoe of the animated version of "Ghostbuters" after "Fraggle Rock : Born To Wander" epsidoe :stick_out_tongue:

Indeed  Any idea when that was taped? "Born to Wander" originally aired on Sunday 10 January 1988.

I'm almost quite certian it was not that date. The recording I taped was on CITV (weekday), when it was, I have no idea.

Sorry :embarrassed:

I know it wasn't that date  "The Real Ghostbusters" was not the programme that followed it.

Even a rough idea of the year might help me track it down.

The other possibility is that it was a regional variation - do you know which ITV franchise it was taped from? I don't think this is too likely - so far as I am aware, the regional variations in the 80s were largely regional programming rather than opt-outs from the network, I'm pretty sure CITV was networked anyway, and all my research to date points to "Fraggle Rock" being networked - but it's always possible.

logically it would be shown in the same year '88. According to your date (10th Jan.) so it could be that mine is a re-run shown some time later.

Ok...there were (at least) two separate first-run transmission blocks in 88. The first one ran from 10 Jan to probably mid-April (I don't have confirmation on this, but there definitely wasn't a show aired during the week of 23-29 April) and the second began on 4 September and was still running on 18 December. No episode aired on Christmas Day or New Year's Day; beyond that I have no data.

A re-run would logically have happened during the early summer months, since CITV would shut down for the school holidays. We can rule out the week of 13-19 August, since I have listings for that week and no episode aired.

That episode didn't air in the second batch - those were new shows, not repeats.

I am convinced Fraggle Rock used to be on Saturday early evenings, I remember watching it, then sitting there drawing, and stuff like Blind date coming on.
