Happy Santa Lucia Day! 
My mom's side of the family's Swedish, but I never heard of the holiday until I read about it in "Kirsten's Surprise," a book in the American Girl series. That was in fifth grade, I think, and every year since I've dressed up in a white dress with red ribbons and a wreath with electric candles on my head and served breakfast to my family in bed. It's a fun little tradition, especially because they never remember that it's Santa Lucia Day so I always surprise them.
