Does anyone have a favorite muppet show episode? I love the one with Paul Simaon as the guest star. It's sooooo good! It's on one of the new muppet show videos, for anyone who wants to see it.

Their are too many favourites to choose from. I'd say my top ten in no order of importance would be the following:
1, Rita Moreno
2, Ethel Merman
3, Peter Ustinov
4, Marisa Berenson
5, Elton John
6, Carol Burnett
7, Bruce Forsyth
8, Liberace
9, Raquel Welch
10, Twiggy

Other faves include Juliet Prowse, Julie Andrews, Loretta Swit, Dyan Cannon and Bernadette Peters.

Harry Belafonte
Elton John
Paul Simon
Mark Hamill
Dizzy Gillespie (which I haven't seen in a LONG time)
Pearl Bailey
John Cleese (anything Python-related is fine by me)
Ethel Merman
Phyllis George
Connie Stevens (w/Bert and Ernie)

Okay, I'll list some faves. No particular order beyond the first four:

1) Paul Williams
2) Vincent Price
3) Joel Grey
4) Ben Vereen
5) Rich Little
6) Petula Clark
7) George Burns
8) Rudolf Nureyev
9) Bernadette Peters
10) Elton John
11) Lou Rawls
12) Julie Andrews
13) Peter Sellers
14) Roy Clark
15) James Coco
16) Helen Reddy
17) Lola Falana
18) Alan Arkin
19) Diana Ross
20) Gene Kelly
21) Loretta Swit
22) Paul Simon
23) Marty Feldman
24) Chris Langham
25) Carol Burnett
26) Roger Moore
27) Melissa Manchester

Could I make this list any longer? Probably inaccurate. Why don't I just put in some least favorite eps:

Jonathan Winters (he only does ONE ACT! What's the deal?!)
Anne Murray (kinda shoddy)
Star Wars (dumb)
Joan Baez (forced, preachy)
Senor Wences (I guess this one just didn't get to me; kind of boring, didn't really fit)
Wally Boag (same as Senor Wences)
Lena Horne (kind of boring, old hat, repeated jokes; lack of originality and Muppety anarchy)
Peter Ustinov (same as Lena Horne)
Leo Sayer (I'm a big Leo Sayer fan, but there are two main issues: opening & closing numbers should've been switched, so the show has somewhere to build and isn't downhill from the opening; and backstage area is empty and plot moves slowly/takes up too much time- needs some more regular features to fill in the gaps between Leo's high-energy rock numbers and the old-fashioned vaudeville solos)
Roy Rogers & Dale Evans (I dunno, I guess this one just didn't grab me)

Let's see, based on the ones I have on video I'll go with Racquel Welsh, Elton John, Gene Kelly, Dom DeLouise, Star Wars (sorry Gorgon), Jon Cleese, John Denver, Paul Simon and Harry Belafonte.

Peter Sellers......that episode had everything a Muppet fan could have asked for some laughs and wackiness, but then the tone goes down a little when Kermit stops to sing "Bein' Green" then back up again when everyone gets run off by a gorilla.

I've only seen Elton John and Star Wars but I'd say Star Wars is the best. It is great to see C3PO not in Star Wars. I just love 3PO.

Depends what mood I'm in but usually either Debbie Harry or Alice Cooper. If I'm in a reflective mood it will be Harry Belafonte. And the Glenda Jackson one is cool.

I could list mostthem really. It would be easier to list the ones that arn't your favourites.
