Ever wondered what a complete LotR action figure collection looked like?

Well, it's complete by MY standards anyway. I wanted to get at least one of every figure, excluding variants (for example, paint changes). I have a four-shelf plant rack which (obviously) doesn't have plants and is home to my LotR figures.

This is the top shelf:

It has all the figures with sound bases, figures with dioramas, and the fell beast with some Ringwraiths.

Right side of the top shelf:

This is the second shelf, which has all the trolls, horse & rider sets, hobbits, Elves (minus the Legolas figures), Treebeard, and some smaller Orcs:

And here's the third shelf which has the Aragorns, Gimlis, Gandalfs, Legolas's, Theodens, Boromirs, Faramirs, Eoywns, named one-shot characters (Denethor, Isildur, Elendil, Hama, Gamling, etc.), no-named "army builders" (Rohirrim Soldier, Gondorian ranger, Gondorian swordsman, Citadel guard, etc.), named Orcs (Lurtz, Ugluk, Grishnakh, Gothmog, Gorbag, Shagrat, etc.), no-name Orcs (Berserker Uruk-Hai, Cross bow Uruk, Cirith Ungol Uruk, VERY RARE EXCLUSIVE BURGER KING URUK! etc.), Sarumans, Wormtongue, Sauron, the mouth of sauron, one regular Ringwraith, witch-king, morgul lord witch king (with fiery sword), and flaming ringwraith:

~ How long has it taken you to compile this impressive collection?
~ I like how he just leaves the Lego village ravaged in his wake. HA HA HA! :excited:
~ How tall is he? He looks MASSIVE. What's his name again? I'm not to keen on names. surry.
Well, I started when in 2001 I think when the first movie came out. My grandma had gotten me Frodo, Sam, and Gandalf and that was the start of it all. I hadn't intended on collecting these at first lol. So I guess it's been about 6 years or so. Towards the end of the line it became impossible for me to find new figures in the stores. I don't know if it was scalpers or what but I just couldn't find new ones. When it came down to the last 20 or so I had to resort to eBay and other online stores (often paying a lot more than I should have... lol) but it was worth it in the end. I think the most I spent on any one figure was about $70 (including shipping), but it was for the Burger King exclusive Uruk-Hai. In other words, it was an exclusive figure that was offered through Burger King when you sent in 4 proofs of purchases from other figures. I missed out on it initially and the price I paid was actually a good deal, I've seen it go for A LOT more on eBay, plus I got the original box it came in too

The Balrog (that's his name/species) is about 25 inches tall.
