AMAZING ITEM FROM THE “GOLDEN AGE” OF TELEVISION!
Offered here is an original announcer's script for the Legendary TV show “KUKLA, FRAN, AND OLLIE”. The two page script is dated April 18, 1952 and has the Rare autographed signatures of puppeteer BURR TILLSTROM and Host FRAN ALLISON in pencil.

Extremely Rare!!

“KUKLA, FRAN AND OLLIE”(KFO) premiered as local programming in Chicago on October 13,1947. NBC brought it to the network on January 12, 1949, and it became a hit show for adults and children. TILLSTROM later was Puppetry mentor to both Shari Lewis and Jim Henson. “KFO” literally was “SESAME STREET” and “THE MUPPETS” long before such shows were even contemplated.

JOE HILL was a pioneer television announcer with WLW-C in Columbus, Ohio, as well as other stations. He performed on-air live voice-over for the network feed and, as such, worked from a brief two-page script. The show itself, remarkably, was unscripted, and totally AD-LIBBED by TILLSTROM and ALLISON. So this announcer's script is the closest thing one could ever have to an actual piece of Rare on-air memorabilia. This item is even a presentation to hill from TILLSTROM and ALLISON. The Inter-office correspondence from GENE RAGLE of CROSLEY BROADCASTING to HILL, which set-up HILL'S duties for “KFO” is also included in this sale.
HILL was also the TV and Radio voice for Columbus, Ohio sports for years, especially Ohio State Football and Basketball.
