Last Sunday, Family Guy did yet another Sesame Street reference.

Lois's mother had left her husband Carter and went for Ted Turner. It showed her giving Ted a bath in a bathtub. She asked Ted. "Do you want your Elmo toy?" Ted replied in a kid's voice, "Yeah!" Then she asked, "Do you want your Telly toy?" Ted replied again, "Yeah!" And finally she asked, "Do you want your Ernie toy?" Ted knocked all three toys away and shouted, "NOOOO! Ernie's scared of the monsters!"

...that's sorta strange. On many different levels. What's the episode's name, so I can watch out for it?

The name of the episode is "Peterotica".

Oscar is most likely going to be the next character to appear on the show.

I'm pretty sure that it'll be on the Volume 4 DVD that comes out in November. But they've had a lot of weird references to the Muppets in their shows. My fav is when they did a parody of NYPD Blue or some cop show with Burt & Ernie as the main characters.
