Hey Guys,

I was watching TMTM the other night, and I noticed that Gil Frog, voiced by Steve Whitmire, sounds a little like his Kermit. So you had two Kermit voices at once!

Weird, huh?

Weird? You wanna know weird??

Get a hold of the Sesame Street Biography Close-Up. Watch through a while. There is a picture of Steve Whitmire in high school with a really crudely-fashioned homemade puppet. Who might that puppet be? You guess it, Kermit. Extremely eerie. They even said it on the special "Its sad that Steve's lifelong dream of performing Kermit the Frog was lived due to the untimely dead of Jim Henson."

:frown: Makes me feel kinda bad inside...

Whoa. I think that one wins the "Creepy Award" right there.

I heard/read somewhere that Steve's nickname in school was "Kermit." Maybe someone can confirm this with where the info originated. I think an old school friend of Steve's posted here about it once.
