eFX Collectibles to produce Muppet Replicas

That news about the price is disappointing, if not wholly unexpected. I can't imagine dropping more than $200 on one of these, but **** if I don't want a Fozzie.

    Watchmen, 2009 Movie

I love Alan Moore's comics generally, and Watchmen may be my favorite comic series of all time. Having said that, I'm not 100% sure about the movie. Snyder's previous work hasn't exactly blown me away, and though some of the early stuff I've seen for this movie seems spot on, I recently saw...

    Palisades Zoot statue question

Hurm. . .debating if I should try to get refund or not. He wasn't very expensive, but. . .a little thing like this can be pretty annoying. Thanks for the response!

    Palisades Zoot statue question

Hey guys, I recently picked up a Palisades Zoot statue fairly cheap off EBay. The seller said that it was in "perfect" condition, but it looks like two of his fingers (holding the top part of his sax) broke off and were superglued on. My question is--for those of you who know, was this just...

    Palisades Backstage

Somehow, I also find some solace in the fact that I could sell all my toys off and buy a car at any given point in time. . .but I also know that no matter how poor I get (and I am P-O-O-R!), I will probably never sell stuff like my treasured Muppets.

    Palisades Backstage

I bought a Backstage set last year for around $150, and at this point, that sounds like a pretty good deal. Check eBay, and look for newly listed "BIN" auctions from someone who either: a) doesn't know what it is really worth; or b) wants to unload it really quickly. Otherwise, you'll probably...

    The Dark Knight thread.

Pretty awesome that James (Aliens) Cameron and Christopher (Memento) Nolan made the top 2 domestically grossing movies ever. Then, Sam (Evil Dead) Raimi and Peter (Frighteners) Jackson also have movies in the top 10. Whoda thunk the U.S. people had such terrific taste in directors? :D

What's up with Zoot's price lately?

Zoot is certainly much cheaper now than he was this time last year. . .so, you may be on to something.

What's up with Zoot's price lately?

Cool stuff! I actually lived in Gonzales for awhile, off of Black Bayou Road, if you know where that is, before moving to Baton Rouge for grad school. I'll try to take some pics of my collection soon and post them. My collection isn't as impressive as yours, but minus a very few stragglers...

What's up with Zoot's price lately?

Thread resurrection! Just wanted to post that I finally got my yellow shirt zoot, over a year from the time that my hunt began. Now, I'm gonna have to sell my red shirt one to make back a bit of what I paid for him. Anyway, is good!

Songs the Electric Mayhem could perform

I would be curious to see the Mayhem take on: The Pixies: "Alec Eiffel" (I would like to see a non-Mayhem Muppets skit with "Where is My Mind?") The Police: "Synchronicity II" Tom Waits: "Earth Died Screaming" (ol' Dr. Teeth already sounds a bit like Tom) Steve Earle: "Hometown Blues"

As he was preparing to fly away on top of the rocket Christmas tree! As great as Heath Ledger is, Mark Hamill is still the Joker to me.

Muppet Central "I Love the 80's!"

Time has not been kind to that cartoon or movie, in my opinion. . . and I mean time as in my changing age, not as in the time that it was made versus now. It is no Muppet Show, that's for sure ;)

Muppet Central "I Love the 80's!"

I was a huge Turtles fan, too. Me and a buddy had bookbags full of Turtles that we would bring to school and play with. I actually had the "concert" tape that you could get at Pizza Hut, and liked it, though not as much as the movie soundtrack, that I just about wore out, "On the...

Jim Henson and Frank Oz double feature

I would have loved to have seen Henson do a wacky zombie movie, and Oz do a non-comedy about a serial-killing stunt man. . .
