Tina Fey in Talks for Muppet Sequel

So I know I was worrying about too many human stars in the other thread...but I love this news. Tina Fey would be near the top of the list of actors I'd like to see in a Muppet movie. Yay for filming starting this week!

U.K.: "Secret Policeman's Ball" (with The Muppets)

Even better! It's on Netflix instant streaming. I actually went through the other day and wrote down the times that Statler and Waldorf appear...but I lost it. :o

TV Alert: Muppets on WWE Tribute to the Troops December 19 and December 22

Rizzo! You guys it was Rizzo! Hanging out with Pepe and Gonzo! And acting like Rizzo!! ...and the other stuff was fun, too. :-)

Ricky Gervais in Talks to Star in 'Muppets' Sequel

Oh, sorry, I was thinking the interpol inspector was the villain. I guess we don't know that yet? You'll have to excuse me, I think Christmas has addled my brain. No casting on the femme fatale yet, that I know of. But we know the character is supposed to be there. I'm just thinking that...

Ricky Gervais in Talks to Star in 'Muppets' Sequel

I was one of those who was hoping there wasn't going to be a "human lead" in the film, especially since we already have a villain and a "femme fatale." Of course, it remains to be seen how significant the role is. As for Gervais...ok, I'm not a big fan. But then, he loves the Muppets, right...

TV Alert: Muppets "Letters to Santa" on CW December 11

Yeah? I guess. But only because we know Gonzo, and of course he was enjoying it! But what was happening onscreen (unless I missed something) is that all the other Muppets were screaming, and so was Gonzo, and there wasn't anything to indicate that he was overcome with glee instead of terror...

TV Alert: Muppets "Letters to Santa" on CW December 11

I watched it (on DVD, which I just bought the day before I heard they were going to air it on CW) for the first time since its original airing. It's still plenty cute, with lots of great moments (Sam's little PSA about the mail, HA), and still not my all-time favorite. (Gonzo didn't even look...

TV Alert: Kermit on 30 Rock Thursday December 6

Yeah, I used to catch it on a semi-regular basis. This one just seemed, I don't know, extreme. End of the fall season, I guess.

TV Alert: Kermit on 30 Rock Thursday December 6

So the appearance was cute and funny. It's always good to see Kermit, of course, and I'd love to hear his take on the afterlife, heh. But what in the world is going on with that show? I haven't watched it in a few years, and I only watched the end of this one, but there's a wacky funeral, and...

Video: Kermit confesses all to TV Guide

I thought the same; he was a little hoarse. (and oh boy, there are just WAY too many possible jokes with hoarse/horse and a frog in the throat and probably other animal puns I'm not thinking of) I get that way pretty easily myself. I always wonder how performers, especially singers, manage to...

I love Kermit interviews. The world needs more of them. :)

TV Alert: Kermit on The Chew Monday December 3

Scroll down below the embedded vid, and there are some other clips. You want "Kermit and Mario's Ricotta calzones" parts 1 and 2. Obviously. :)

TV Alert: Kermit on The Chew Monday December 3

My goodness, that frog makes me happy! This was a great appearance. Kermit was really on his flippers, the audience was into it, and it was fun to hear Michael Symon giggling at his jokes. Of course, Michael Symon giggles at everything, but that's beside the point. :)

TV Alert: Muppets on Good Morning America Tuesday November 27

The abc site has their "full episode" up here: http://abcnews.go.com/watch/good-morning-america/SH5587637/VD55251216/gma-1127-the-muppets-take-over It's not the full episode, not even close. But it does have a few brief bits with the Muppets. Look for them at 2:25, 26:50 and 39:55. The middle...

TV Alert: Muppets on NBC's The Voice on Tuesday November 27

Ah, I loved that. This week has been fabulous. Like I said somewhere else, it just wouldn't be Christmas without the Muppets. Hopefully with them gearing up to work on the new movie, we'll continue to get more appearances. I've missed them!

Music Video: "All I Need is Love" with CeeLo Green and The Muppets

This made my day! I think my favorite thing is watching the Muppets just hanging out, doing their various Muppety activities. You know, people eating, fish throwing, doo dooo doooing... Big Mean Carl trying to eat Cee-Lo was funny. Cee-Lo luring Carl off of him with a turkey leg was...

Video: Ben Folds Five and the Fraggles sing "Do It Anyway"

Oh wow. I want a personalized Fraggle. I've always liked Ben Folds, but anyone who says they're starstruck around any sort of Muppet always goes up a few notches in my esteem. :)

Muppets on Cee Lo Green's "Magic Moment" Christmas album

Heh. Yep, those Muppets can go "doo doo doo doo doo" like no one else. :-) Cute, but I hope that's not the extent of it!

Did the Emmy's forget Jerry Nelson?

He wasn't in it; I was mad. Somebody said there was a Count von Count reference somewhere else in the show, but I didn't catch that part.

Video: Ben Folds Five and the Fraggles sing "Do It Anyway"

I think ... I think .... I can't even think. Ben Folds Five and the Fraggles. Wow. And here I didn't think anything could top OK Go! and the Muppets. Wow. Wow. Wow. And they're all there! All the puppets are back! BOOBER IS BACK!!!!
