So I know I was worrying about too many human stars in the other thread...but I love this news. Tina Fey would be near the top of the list of actors I'd like to see in a Muppet movie. Yay for filming starting this week!

I was one of those who was hoping there wasn't going to be a "human lead" in the film, especially since we already have a villain and a "femme fatale." Of course, it remains to be seen how significant the role is. As for Gervais...ok, I'm not a big fan. But then, he loves the Muppets, right...

Yeah? I guess. But only because we know Gonzo, and of course he was enjoying it! But what was happening onscreen (unless I missed something) is that all the other Muppets were screaming, and so was Gonzo, and there wasn't anything to indicate that he was overcome with glee instead of terror...

My goodness, that frog makes me happy! This was a great appearance. Kermit was really on his flippers, the audience was into it, and it was fun to hear Michael Symon giggling at his jokes. Of course, Michael Symon giggles at everything, but that's beside the point. :)

Ah, I loved that. This week has been fabulous. Like I said somewhere else, it just wouldn't be Christmas without the Muppets. Hopefully with them gearing up to work on the new movie, we'll continue to get more appearances. I've missed them!
