Muppet Comics -- Family Reunion SHOCK!

My favorite background gag in issue #5 is Kermit's face while wearing the afro wig. Amy does such great work. -A

    Muppet King Arthur

Glad you guys liked it! For all the stresses of putting out a comic book, this one was a heckuva lot of fun to be a part of. Kudos to Paul, Patrick, Dave, David, James, and Amy for making this one such a blast! I think you'll enjoy the trade as well, which will be on the high quality glossy...

Your Thoughts: The Muppet Show Comic Book

Why does everyone assume Skeeter's name isn't mentioned for legal reasons? Just sayin'. :D The "Clash Of The Titans" nod was indeed worked in to give the story a certain ambiguity...but in the end it wasn't necessary, as the great team at the Muppets Studio is really behind the story, and...

Muppet Comics -- Family Reunion SHOCK!

I think it's a testament to the Muppet Studios' faith in what we do here at BOOM Kids, and in both Roger and Amy, that they approved both the storyline and design for reviving the character. Assistant Editor Jason Long and I could not be more excited to be involved with this book, and this arc...

Muppet Comics -- Family Reunion SHOCK!

The truth can now be told! Amy sent me concept sketches of a grown-up Skeeter months ago, and once we saw them we knew we wanted to introduce her. (It also lets us add another female character to the mix!) Roger was on board, turned in a beautiful script, and we were off to the races! Special...

Your Thoughts: The Muppet Show Comic Book

I wouldn't get my hopes up for any lincensing crossovers. If I had THAT power we'd be doing MUPPET DIE HARD. :) Still, I think what we have in store for this arc will make everyone pretty happy. -A

    Muppet Peter Pan

I'm not sure who said we shouldn't be including the more obscure Muppet characters. I mean, you probably won't ever see Marvin Suggs' singing vegetables in a starring role...but you WILL see them. "Easter eggs" are part of fan service! -A

    Muppet King Arthur

We don't like to switch artists, but there were a few scheduling and production snafus on our end that necessitated the switch to get back on schedule; the deadlines would have killed Dave, and we want to keep him alive for future projects. :D I think James came in and stepped up beautifully. -A

    Muppet King Arthur

We're really happy with the final product; Paul and Patrick wrote some great stuff, and the art really sells each gag. James knocked it out of the park on his first swing. Hope you guys all grab a copy this Wednesday! (And yes, the accelerated release date is to get the book back on schedule!)...

    Muppet Peter Pan

I think anytime a licensor and licensee work together, their early collaborations will have some rough spots, as neither really understands everything the other wants, and it takes some time for all the pieces to come together. We're moving into our second year with Disney, and I think most of...
