Hey Gang! been a while! Here's a little something I've been help battling

I'll introduce a short backstory and story, cause with EVERY detail and side story put in, it'd be a long story.
My best friend was introduced to Drugs/Sex(porn)/Alcohol all at age four by their father. Their father left the picture when they were 7 (in 1992), came back once only to leave again in 1999. My friend had a daughter when he was just 17 (in 2002), His daughter is not in the picture now, it only takes one clean drug test to be back in his life. My is/was addicted to Weed/Dust/Alcohol and liked to say what's up to cocaine if at parties.

I tried to help him alot throughout his addiction, he was my co-worker too; I got my dad to sell him a car. Now here comes the end of the line for his job; Towards the end of working for Five Guys, he became a manager, only to realize three weeks later being a manager and quitting drugs at the same time was extremely difficult. One event at the job made him go to the branch manager to ask if he could be demoted so he could focus on quitting drugs and get his daughter back in his life, it didn't go well, he was told to eff off, he was fired.

Weeks later he checked himself into rehab, to stay for 30+ days; went to a soberhouse. Problem was he came home two weeks later from the sober house due to too much mayhem (there was a cocaine ring bust that happened the day after he came home!); He seemed good for the time being, seemingly frustrated but was thinking with a clear head and still commuting back and fourth to the rehab classes. Weeks later he began to slip, He confided in me about his slipping, His girlfriend started suspecting he was slipping, she broke up with him on that note; his last bit of sanity. A day later, he crashed his car and was given a D.W.I, to make matters worse his mother's apartment he was living at kicked him out for it.

The next day he checked himself in to inpatient and extended his stay at rehab and went back to the sober house. I didn't hear from him for 2 straight months. I was only updated by his mother; During that time he was given a social worker, He also had a bunch of dental work done, a couple cavities were causing him pain for year, he was given anxiety/depression meds.

Towards the end of his rehab stay, towards graduation, the plan was to go to another sober house, but the rehab sprung a $300 fee in order to get in; the day after graduation, the rehab sprung having a job as a second requirement to get into the second sober house.
A month later, I finally get to hear from my best friend, who was doing only "alright". He has no job, no car, no money, no home. He's been living here and there, alot of the time its been a tent in the woods! But the main good thing is, he isn't on drugs

I hope he has. I never want to see him use again, this battle really took alot out of me as I'm sure it did him. I just hope he gets back on his feet soon; In addition, he is staying at a friend's house this week. I just hope its a clean friend and/or not a drug dealer.

Honestly I love my best friend. He's the brother I never had, He's the best friend everyone deserves, I don't know a better person. I worry for him all the time.

That's great your friend is working towards staying sober. I imagine it's a very hard battle to have to deal with, and I hope it works out for him and that you can give him the help he needs.

It's been hard for all involved to deal with. I've really lost alot of sanity through this, I'm always full on nervous for him now.
