Muppets on Today 7/29

Miss Piggy and Kermit are on the 4th hour of the Today Show this morning. I'm watching it now and they already made a brief appearance, but I think they'll be on again in a few minutes.

Does anybody know who did Kermit? He did *not* sound very much like Kermit, in my opinion. When Steve Whitmire took over from Henson there was a bit of a difference, but it was still really close, I thought.

But if I looked away from the screen during this appearance I couldn't tell it was Kermit talking. I'm hoping this was a one-time performance for that muppeteer -- or do I just need to get used to a completely different voice for Kermit?
