I just caught Fox News Sunday interviewing Sonia Manzano in their last segment of the show. They showed a few clips of her from her early appearances, like "The People in Her Neighborhood" and "What's the Name of That Song?". She mentioned some interesting things in her interview, such as how she wanted to end racism in the US with her role on the show.

I mean I'm just shocked that Fox News - an extremely partisan outlet that likes to cater specifically to middle-aged white fuddy-duddies, and often accuses SST of trying to carry out a liberal agenda - conducted such an interview.

That's why Sesame Street and Muppet folk are so amazing. They willfully go on the very same news organization that spends every waking moment cooking up liberal conspiracy theories about every aspect of entertainment when others would boycott them completely. I really admire that Sesame Street cast members (and SW themselves) do something like this. If nothing else, it proves they're the better man.
