Yeah! He was good, although you can see his lips move whenever he does his act.
That is why he did it on the radio. It did say in Jim Henson: The Biography that he did his work weakly, but if he was funny, it does not really matter to me.

I think it was the idea of the Muppets being puppets with another dummy, but how they're the same idea of giving them such personalities it doesn't matter.

Yes, and I do think the episode was funny. It was also like a boyhood dream for the puppeteers, because they had always loved his show on the radio.
