I don't like Disney sequels that much, in fact I even hate them. I did my best to make a top ten for it, but I couldn't. Instead, I wanted to make a list of the top five least frightening Disney sequels.
The Top 5 Least Frightening Disney Sequels:
5. 101 Dalmatians II (Before you bash me, just listen to what I have to say. 101 Dalmatians was one of my favorite movies when I was younger and I liked the sequel just as much. True the plot is a little dorky, but I like its animation style.)
4. Cinderella III (If you can survive the 2-minute song, this is actually quite a good sequel by Disney's standards. It has an interesting plot and it kind of looks like a little more effort was put into it. Nice recovery from Cinderella II!)
3. Fantasia 2000 (I even wonder sometimes why it's considered a sequel, it's more like a spin-off than anything else. It's mostly everything the original Fantasia was, mixing in hand-drawn animation with computer animation, very innovative. I felt it was a nice representation of what the original movie was like.)
2. The Rescuers Down Under (If more sequels were like this one, I wouldn't have to be so picky about Disney today. I think I'm sort of partial to this one because The Rescuers was one of my favorite Disney movies when I was little and I still like it now. I thought the plot was good even though it's hard to follow how good the original was. Its villain was surprisingly evil by sequel standards and it was all around good. It's hard to fill in the shoes of a movie that's good in the first place, but this movie did its job and did it well!)
1. Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin (I know what you're thinking. Why is a Pooh sequel #1? Well, I have a few reasons I would mention. The first is a witty imaginative screenplay even though it's basic storyline has been done many times before. I loved all the humor in it! As an adult, I want to add in that it has a good message for kids without being too preachy about it like most children's movies.)
I don't think I'm strong enough to post the worst ones.
