TV Alert: The Muppets on NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Center November 28

I was under the impression that Miss Piggy alternates between being a hand-rod puppet and a live hand puppet for her appearances. I feel like I've definitely seen a live-hand Miss Piggy in the last few years, possibly Christmas at Rockefeller Center 2009 or D23.

TV Alert: The Muppets on NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Center November 28

I highly doubt that one performer was doing Fozzie's right arm and Animal, because that would mean his arms were crossed in front of him, making it difficult or him to perform either. From this video, I can't tell if Fozzie actually had a second puppeteer, as his right arm didn't seem to be...

Your Thoughts: Jason Segel and The Muppets on Saturday Night Live November 19

I saw Steve, Eric, Dave Goelz, Dave Rudman, Bill, and Peter Linz. I'm guessing Camilla was attached to Matt Vogel. There should be seven performers total, and matches the number of characters on screen.

    Walter Puppeteer Auditions

According to an article in the New York Times, Peter Linz was one of six puppeteers who auditioned for the role of Walter. I was wondering if anyone knew who the other five puppeteers were? Thanks!

The Jim Henson Company Puppets to perform at the 2011 Grammys

Puppeteers? I was wondering if anyone knew who the puppeteers were at this performance? That's really far more interesting to me than debating the meaning of "Muppet" and who puppetry is intended for, which is done in countless threads.

Your Thoughts: The Muppets on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"

Was that Matt Vogel as Robin? He sounded different than Letters to Santa. I wonder who all the puppeteers for this appearance were

    Robin in "Letters to Santa"

Unfortunately no, we can't find out because the puppeteers are just listed as a group and not by specific characters.

    Robin in "Letters to Santa"

So does anyone know definitively who Robin's performer was? Matt Vogel doesn't have it listed on his resume, even though he was my guess as well. I wonder if it was Peter Linz or James Godwin?

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street on Scrubs

I believe that was Stephanie D'Abbruzzo as the orange monster.

    The Large orange live hand

It seems like more often I see the Tall Gold Live Hand Muppet, like what Guy Smiley looked like. The Orange Live Hand might have been a dwarf from the Amy Sedaris episode and I think once appeared as an opera singer in Elmo's World if it's the puppet I'm thinking of. I would really enjoy...

Sesame puppeteer and writer marry on-set

Congrats to both of them! Marty and Annie have always been amazing, kind and generous people whenever I have talked to them and I am smiling now after reading this article. And Annie is having twins! New Sesame Street audience members on the way!

    The Large orange live hand

In Elmo in Grouchland, there was the Laundromat Guy I think, I'm trying to remember where I have seen Large Orange Live-Hand on the show. This is what Muppet Wiki is good for.

Sesame Street Live: When Elmo Grows Up

You misunderstand me.... No I think you misunderstood my question. I wasn't asking which characters are the understudies, but rather which characters do they understudy. To use your above example, who are the small characters that Prairie understudies, who are the medium characters Grover...

Sesame Street Live: When Elmo Grows Up

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I was curious which characters were considered small, medium, and large? I imagine Elmo is small, and Bert is tall, wondering about the others though
