Rarest Classic Sesame Puppets on Auction

Hi everyone, I've spent many years amassing what I think is the most complete collection of 70's Sesame Street puppets anywhere, and I'm putting all the rarest up on eBay to finance a new business. Paco, Abelardo, Canadian Count, Herry, Toccata and Mordicus, the other Vicmas...they're all up...

    Awesome Puppet Collection Going Up...

Hi...I'm the same Herry Grail! I didn't post a link because I didn't know if it was good practice here, but since you asked, thanks: http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/daviddaltonagency_W0QQ_nkwZQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZ

    Awesome Puppet Collection Going Up...

Hi everyone, I'm selling my whole collection of Sesame Street puppets to finance a new business. It's really tough to part with them, but it has to be done! Vicmas, Abelardo, Toccato, Paco, Canadian Count, U.S. versions, and more. My best stuff. Watch for daviddaltonagency auctions over the...

    Muppet Event in Orlando, Florida

This exhibit is a lot of fun...I only had an hour to see it last week, but that was plenty of time. I was mostly interested in the actual Muppets on display, and they included an Ernie and Bert; Rowlf; two Fraggles; the original Sir Linit (a commercial is looping nearby, which is great)...

Original Muppet Whatnot Workshop now off-line

From FAO: Thank you for writing to FAO Schwarz. Unfortunately the Muppet What Not Parts cannot be ordered without the parts being glued on.

Original Muppet Whatnot Workshop now off-line

Many thanks to our friend at Stitch Kingdom for all the great answers to mine and other questions. I have a question in to FAO to see if they will ship the puppet and parts selections unattached.

Original Muppet Whatnot Workshop now off-line

I wonder what happened to the nose on that in-store Whatnot? Also, when you look at the placement of the eyes on that one, they're a lot closer together than the ones on the mockup. I wonder if the person said where the eyes should go or if that's just where they put them? If anyone gets one...

Original Muppet Whatnot Workshop now off-line

This is an awesome thing...don't get me wrong. But the online tool doesn't allow any positioning of the elements, and the comparative sizes of the noses and eyes don't look accurate when you see the actual puppets shown above the palette. (And the oval eyes, which are Muppet mainstays, go on the...

Original Muppet Whatnot Workshop now off-line

These look almost too good to be true! I am just learning about them, and have done some quick research including looking through the threads. I have a few questions I wonder if anyone can speak to, and please forgive me if I missed the answers elsewhere: 1. If you go into the store in...

Pricing for Wilkins and Wontkins Puppets

I have watched Wilkins and Wontkins bring all kinds of prices on eBay over the years. I have two sets, and I'd say the average I've seen is $300 per set. I've seen them sell for under $100 each or over $500 as a set. There's no real trend over time; sometimes they're up, and sometimes they're...

    Disappointed in Sweetums

I think he's off because his eyes are too far apart. These subtle issues with the facial features make a difference. It was very noticeable with Scooter's glasses, too.

    Chuckie Question

Does anyone know why Chuckie doesn't break apart like he was originally planned to do? I think his sculpt is fantastic, and I'm really pleased after months of anticipation, but I'm sorry to see him totally unarticulated except for his neck. Even his mouth, which looks like it can be opened and...

Series 9 Arrives When and Where

Series 9 In Jacksonville Last Friday Series 9 hit Jacksonville's major local comics store (Universe of Superheroes) last Friday (November 19). I'd been looking forward to Chuckie for as long as he was planned, and though the sculpt is phenomenal, I was disappointed that he doesn't fall...

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

I don't think the Sesame Street character redesigns compare with Muppet Show tweaking. The difference between 1969 Ernie and today's Ernie is extreme. Same for Bert, Big Bird, Herry, and so many others. The "human" ones even went from looking cloth-like to very porous and foamy. Because these...

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

I've been away from the Forum for a little while and just read the whole history of these new figures. There seems to be a happy-ending of sorts now that this input meeting has taken place. I tilt slightly toward the classic Sesame Street characters as my favorite Muppets, and much prefer the...
