My Favorite Songs sung by Jerry Nelson (Muppet or Non-Muppet related)

10. Eye of the Storm
9. Tides
8. Honeyboken Honey
7. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
6. Our World
5. Halfway Down the Stairs
4. When the River Meets the Sea
3. Friends Til' The End (It's preety catchy!)
2. Bless Us All (This song can put you to tears now, but I'll say it's a really sweet song)
1. Follow Me

I am not sure if this is the correct order, but those are usually the songs I mostly listen to a lot.

Top ten traditional Christmas songs*:
10. We Wish You a Merry Christmas
9. Sleigh Ride
8. We Need a Little Christmas
7. Jingle Bells
6. Deck the Halls
5. It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
4. Winter Wonderland
3. White Christmas
2. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
1. The Christmas Song

*Not quite sure if all these would qualify as "traditional", but they seem to have been sung by everybody hundreds of times. Seemingly nobody associates the original singers with these songs.

Top ten Christmas pop songs/recordings:
10. "Happy Christmas (Peace on Earth)" by John Lennon
9. "Feed the World"
8. "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)"
7. "All I Want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey
6. "Christmas Through Your Eyes" by Gloria Estefan
5. "Merry Christmas Darling" by The Carpenters
4. "Step Into Christmas" by Elton John
3. "Wonderful Christmastime" by Paul McCartney
2. "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses
1. "Last Christmas" by Wham

Honorable mention goes to "Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy" by Bing Crosby and David Bowie. It's such a great performance, and an odd pairing. I first found out last year that one of the signers was David Bowie, which really surprised me.

I want to make a list of the top ten Christmas novelty songs, but right now I can only think of seven. Maybe I'll figure out ten great songs to post later.

Top 10 Favorite Christmas Songs (a lot of religious ones, surprisingly, considering I'm a Buddhist!)
10. The Night Santa Went Crazy by Weird Al
9. Merry Christmas, Darling by the Carpenters
8. All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey (I know this one gets some flack from my fellow feminists, but I've always loved it)
7. Do You Hear What I Hear? by Destiny's Child (though it does kind of annoy me that they omitted the last verse. You know; "Said the king to the people everywhere...")
6. It Feels Like Christmas from MCC
5. Sleigh Ride (any version, really, although I like the one TLC did, because it was a bit less traditional, but still had all the heart)
4. Grown-Up Christmas List by either Amy Grant or Kelly Clarkson
3. O Holy Night (especially the version by Josh Groban; that man has the voice of an angel...:flirt:)
2. Silent Night (any version)
1. Do They Know It's Christmastime? by Band Aid (I think)

Top 10 Favorite things about the Holiday Season

Top ten overrated celebrities:
10. Justin Bieber (I'd like to include him at #1, but it seems he's hated by everybody who isn't a 13-18-year-old girl, so that's hardly overrated)
9. Betty White
8. Johnny Depp (I can't believe so many women have referred to him as the hottest man alive, considering his appearance seems to change with every role he plays. It's hard to consider anybody who always changes their appearance to consistiently be "the hottest")
7. Jonas brothers
6. Jessica Simpson (her stupidity, whether it's real or an act, isn't really that funny)
5. Lindsey Lohan
4. Paris Hilton
3. Hallie Berry
2. Lady Gaga
1. Ben Affleck

I find it interesting that you put Mila Kunis one, someone who at least has a track record of movies and TV acting, over people who have no apparent skill whatsoever, like the Kardashians and Bristol Palin. What don't you like about her?
